Many people sense there might be something more — more meaning, more peace, more purpose — but they are not sure where to start.
Alpha is a relaxed, friendly space where you can explore life’s big questions and the Christian faith.
There’s no pressure, no cost and no such thing as a bad question. You don’t need any prior knowledge or church background — just curiosity.
Each session includes lunch, a short talk and the chance to share thoughts or simply listen. You’re always free to say as much or as little as you like.

Why RiverTree?
On Sunday 18th January we at Community Church changed our name to RiverTree Church. But why?
God spoke two prophetic words to the leadership team over the last year; CLARITY and BE VISIBLE. Our new name and vision statement, both of which have foundations in Ezekiel 47, do just that.
We are clear that everything we do flows from the river, the presence of God, the source of everything, a place of life.
And we know that God calls us, to be a place where people from every walk of life can come and be welcomed into community. A place where people thrive, where there is great fruitfulness and that demonstrates something of what the Kingdom of Heaven is like.
This is not just a rebrand, it is stepping into what is already in our DNA. To be a people who follow the flow of the river, responding wherever the Holy Spirit is bringing life. In our church, in our town, in our nation and beyond.
To be a people who are SHARING THE LIFE AND LOVE OF JESUS.
